Connecting journalists and climate experts across the globe

Currently spanning Australia, Malaysia, and Indonesia, Climate Direct fosters trusting relationships between journalists and climate and energy experts. The aim is to increase the volume and accuracy of local and global reporting on climate and the energy transition.

Through an online portal, Climate Direct connects journalists and experts, facilitating rapid responses to breaking news and timely commentary on over 60 topics spanning climate drivers and events, health, energy, policy and education. Experts are localised to allow for community-level reporting, increasing people's connection to climate and energy challenges and solutions.

In a rapidly changing and interconnected world, this program will help ensure international journalists have access to local on-the-ground experts.
