Movement for Emotional Regulation

Bringing resources and professional learning to schools and families

This suite of resources and professional learning were developed to help regulate children’s emotions through movement breaks. Primary school aged children learn about the science of the connection between movement and emotions in practical and fun ways through Mood Breaker storybooks, video animations and movement activities.

These resources offer tips and adaptations to increase participation for children in both mainstream and specialist schools.

While the Mood Breaker resources are primarily designed for primary school teachers, they are also valuable for families and allied health professionals to support children at home and school. Download for free to make a positive impact on children’s wellbeing.
