Individual activity cards

These activity cards introduce a variety of movement options for children to use when they are using movement on their own. This allows an individual child to quietly take an independent movement break during class to regulate their emotions and attention without requiring the whole class to stop and participate. Below, you will find movement options that do not need other children to participate, or equipment or ‘rules’, so children are supported to lead their own individual movement break as required.

We have grouped the activities into three sets: our Australiana set encourage children to move like some of our Australian animals, our Imaginary set encourage children to move like they are playing sports and other recreational activities, and our Fitness set encourage children to do various exercises.
