Nurses and midwives are constantly struggling to swap shifts. They are uncertain who to ask to swap with and the methods of communication are slow and tedious. For management, this results in fake sick calls and therefore more vacancies which need to be filled with expensive agency nurses.

‘Shift it’ is an app promoting a supportive community for nurses and midwives. Their mission is to foster a culture of nurses helping nurses by simplifying shift swapping. They offer a simple platform for nurses to connect, post shifts for swap, and enjoy seamless integration with management, making for more flexible schedules and a better work-life balance.
