Sufi Studies Network

Sufi Studies Network

Together with Dr Milad Milani from Western Sydney University, the IAI is co-coordinating a “Sufi Studies Network,” an informal emailing list of scholars and experts interested in the academic study of Sufism and in sharing relevant developments, activities and opportunities. The list primarily consists of Australian postgraduate academics, but is open to anybody who is interested in the academic study of Sufism. The themes covered in these monthly seminars expand to anthropology, history, religious studies, sociology, and comparative mysticism.

The group meets monthly where members share their research, and exchange ideas. It meets online or in hybrid mode on the first Friday of the month.
