First to the future: Media student Edith Nguyen shares three insights for international students
Moving to a new country to study can feel like a big step into the unknown, but Bachelor of Media Communication student Edith Nguyen knows firsthand what it takes to settle into university life in Australia.
Originally from Vietnam, Edith has navigated the transition of moving to Melbourne and finding her place within the Monash Faculty of Arts community. Drawing on her own experience as an international student, Edith recently filmed a quick-guide video in our state-of-the-art Media Lab, sharing her advice with prospective students considering studying in Australia.
Whether students are curious about how AI fits into university study, wondering what Australian classrooms are like, or exploring future career opportunities, Edith shares three key insights to help them prepare for their Monash Arts journey:
1. AI is a study partner, not a substitute
