Monash Arts: Global research themes
Global research addresses issues that transcend national borders and cultural contexts, requiring broad perspectives and collaborative efforts.
The Faculty of Arts is home to humanities, social science and performing arts at Monash. We explore people, practices and cultures across time and place.
We seek to understand what is happening to us and to our society. We engage with communities, organisations and industry to explore and deliver solutions tailored for cultural, social and professional contexts.
Global research themes
The Faculty of Arts organises its research into four global research themes that underpin our research excellence by engaging researchers and disciplines in all our Schools and Centres. The Monash Faculty of Arts Global Research themes are:
- Gender Politics and Social Inclusion
- Knowledge History and Cultural Understanding
- Community Creativity and Citizenship
- Environmental Health and Wellbeing
