Border Observatory Research
More reliable data can help reduce the risks refugees experience while travelling, crossing borders and in detention. Better data and associated analysis can transform regulatory and enforcement regimes so they lead to more sustainable regional approaches to protecting refugees. It can also help identify the motivation for refugee journeys, and determine more effective responses to the needs of vulnerable populations such as women and children.
