Gender & Family Violence: New Frameworks in Prevention

Monash Gender and Family Violence Prevention Centre

The Centre addresses the prevention of gendered family and intimate partner violence, how local, national and international patterns influence social and criminal justice responses to violence, and how women and those who have experienced family violence can be supported to access economic and social security.

Monash Gender, Peace and Security Centre

Monash Gender, Peace & Security Centre is a research centre focused on issues of gender, peace and security. Our vision is to build globally-recognised, gender-inclusive research evidence to deliver peace and security globally.

Health & Biofutures

Health & Biofutures engages with the scientific, technological and socio-political transformations of human health and the production of human life. Our projects build on contemporary currents in academic and applied research to address major public policy questions and challenges in Australia and internationally.

Monash Migration and Inclusion Centre (MMIC)

MMIC is an interdisciplinary research unit bringing together expertise from across Monash to generate practical solutions, inform policy and engage with industry and community groups on migration, inclusion, settlement and irregular migration issues.

Imprisonment Observatory

The Imprisonment Observatory speaks to the recognition of work that interrogates uses and practices of imprisonment on a global scale, in its many contemporary and historical forms. It brings together international researchers, students and partners to share knowledge on imprisonment-related practices.
