Ending modern slavery
Ending modern slavery
Monash is helping lead the way in the interrogation of modern slavery and human trafficking and its responses in the Asia-Pacific region and across Europe over the past decade, including forming the first of its kind Modern Slavery Law Clinic in 2019.
Modern Slavery Law Clinic
Assisting those caught up in modern slavery, Monash’s Modern Slavery Law Clinic seeks to provide legal help to those who might not otherwise have the resources or the expertise in seeking justice.
Trafficking and Slavery Research Group
Working for change for a future free of exploitation, the group focuses on measuring impact, creating strategic research partnerships with industry, government and other scholars to build a stronger evidence base for action on modern slavery.
Exploring policy responses to people trafficking
Centre brings together expertise from across Monash to generate practical solutions, inform policy and engage with industry and community groups on irregular migration issues and other issues.
Our focus on modern slavery
From exploitative labour systems to human trafficking, modern slavery is a global issue that impacts mostly the disadvantaged and underprivileged communities across the world. Hear from Monash thought leaders on this very important topic as it applies to our modern society and everyday life.
