Mental health

Mental health conditions are increasing worldwide. Mental illness immobilises individuals and devastates families, communities, societies, and economies. At a time when the burden of mental illness outweighs the availability of clinical services in the community, it is important to seek new horizons, evolve treatments and look for new avenues to create a mentally healthy community.

Monash is committed to finding better, different and innovative ways of treating mental illness - and the opportunity to do this is with psychedelics. We're bringing together the greatest minds to discover, develop and apply new ground-breaking research meaning better minds, better medicines and better futures.
