Calendar and Timelines
SETU is administered three times a year and survey periods and SETU result release dates are set to take into account: teaching period start and end dates, exam periods, faculty variations and result release dates.
- Timelines – Round 2, 2026 (this includes Semester 2)
- Timelines – Round 1, 2026 (this includes Semester 1)
- Timelines – Round 3, 2026 (this includes Summer Semester)
Intelligence & Insights is responsible for:
- Setting up the online survey templates
- Co-ordinating the selection of units and teachers for evaluation
- Opening and closing the surveys at the appropriate time
- Sending out invitation and reminder emails to students
- Monitoring response rates
- Ensuring all reports of the data are published
- Preparing summary reports.
Faculties are responsible for:
- Informing Intelligence & Insights of any changes to the faculty specific unit evaluation questions (must be approved by the faculty)
- Selecting which unit offering options require evaluation
- Assigning to each unit offering option the teaching staff that require evaluation
- Informing teaching staff that they are going to be evaluated.
Faculties can elect for unit offering and teaching staff selections via the following methods:
- SETU selection form in Callista (refer to SETU Callista Manual)
- Provision of data file in format specified
- Request that Intelligence & Insights extract and transform Syllabus+ data.

| Notes: | If your unit is not on the list or a staff member is not appropriately selected please contact your faculty representative. A nominee is the primary staff member to receive central SETU communications. In most cases they will also receive the qualitative data. Nominees are responsible for enabling access to this data accordingly to management structures within their faculty. |
