Student Awards

Individuals and student groups can nominate themselves for this award. Nominations can also be made by their peers at Monash or any university staff member.

Nominations must include:

• a written statement (max. 500 words) demonstrating the significant commitment of the nominated student/group while at Monash to advancing the Faculty and University’s EDI goals, and their impact in the wider community
• information to support the written statement, useful in the selection process (up to two pages)
• endorsement to be involved from the nominated student or group (if not self-nominating).

To access the nomination form, users must be logged into their Monash email accounts.

Once received, a panel appointed by the Faculty’s Associate Dean (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) will review submissions. Up to two awards may be made – one for a postgraduate coursework and one for undergraduate.

Winners will be notified within a few weeks of submissions closing, and awarded alongside other accolades at the annual Cliff Bellamy Awards in May.
