Accessibility information
We are committed to making our campuses, buildings and events as accessible to as many visitors as possible. This information is to assist you with your visit to one of our Open Days.
Public transport
Check out the plan your visit page for specific route information on how to get to each of our campuses by public transport.
| Caulfield campus | Whether you’re taking the train, tram, or bus to Caulfield Open Day, an accessible route is available from your stop to the campus along Sir John Monash Drive and Princes Avenue. Please note: The tram routes operating close to the Caulfield campus typically use high-floor trams, which are not wheelchair accessible. |
|---|---|
| Clayton campus | Most public transport options to Clayton Open Day will arrive by bus directly at our bus interchange. Because one of our official welcome points is located here, you can easily reach out to our friendly staff or student ambassadors if you need any further assistance getting around campus. |
| Parkville campus | If you’re taking the tram to Parkville Open Day, Route 19 is usually serviced by low-floor, wheelchair-accessible trams. If you’re arriving by train at Royal Park Station, an accessible route is available along Poplar Road directly to the campus. |
| Peninsula campus | If you’re taking the train and catching our free shuttle bus, you’ll be dropped off right at the campus front doors. One of our official welcome points is located here, so please reach out to our friendly staff or student ambassadors if you need any assistance getting around. For those taking a regular public bus, accessible routes are available from your stop along Moorooduc Highway into the campus. |
Visit the Metro Trains website, Yarra Trams website or CDC website for more information to assist you with your commute.

Quiet spaces
Each Open Day event will feature a designated quiet space for visitors who may feel overwhelmed or anxious.
These low-sensory rooms offer a private, calming environment where you can take a break and recharge for as long as needed before returning to the event.
Hearing augmentation
Hearing augmentation is available at Open Day.
For more information about types of hearing augmentation technology in our learning spaces, please visit our website.
