If your research uses Monash Biomedical Imaging (MBI) facilities, please email an electronic copy of any publications or research outputs to the MBI General Manager. Publications should acknowledge the equipment used, relevant MBI staff and affiliated entities.
MBI is the Monash University node of the National Imaging Facility (NIF). If your research uses NIF-supported equipment, please include the following acknowledgement:
“The authors acknowledge the facilities and scientific and technical assistance of the National Imaging Facility (NIF), a National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) capability at Monash Biomedical Imaging (MBI), a Technology Research Platform at Monash University. We acknowledge the technical assistance of [insert MBI staff member and affiliation, if applicable].”
For all other MBI equipment, please use the following wording:
“The authors acknowledge the facilities and scientific and technical assistance of Monash Biomedical Imaging (MBI), a Technology Research Platform at Monash University. We acknowledge the technical assistance of [insert staff member and affiliation, if applicable].”
Authorship should be discussed with the MBI staff involved and is based on the level of technical contribution. For help or further guidance, please contact the MBI General Manager.
