Our expert technical and administrative teams support researchers through every stage of their studies. With strong capabilities and broad expertise, we partner with Monash researchers, external universities, industry and government to advance imaging science and improve health outcomes.

Facilities

We provide a comprehensive suite of multi-modal imaging and clinical testing facilities that support both preclinical and clinical research. Our capability includes highly specialised and unique scanners, such as the world’s first Magnetic Particle Imaging system integrated with hyperthermia and CT modules, and Victoria’s only research-dedicated MR-PET scanner.

Strategic Plan 2025-30

The Strategic Plan sets out MBI's direction for the coming period and articulates how MBI will strengthen its core imaging capabilities, embed image data analysis as a central service and support researchers through thoughtful project design, robust workflows and expert guidance across the full research lifecycle.
