Radiation Safety Training
Monash Biomedical Imaging offers a range of radiation safety courses recognised by the Victorian Department of Health, Victoria's radiation regulatory authority. Recognised courses are outlined below.
These courses support the training requirements for radiation users and are designed for personnel working in the education and research sectors.
All courses are delivered in person at Monash Biomedical Imaging, Clayton, Victoria. Successful completion of a recognised radiation safety course is a prerequisite for applying for a Victorian Radiation Use Licence.
Courses are open to staff and students from research institutions, universities, and industry organisations operating within the education and research sectors.

Bespoke learning adventures, incorprating activities to engage and enhance related studies.

Work Experience Program
Learn about the latest discoveries, equipment and advances in medical imaging research.
Students will explore how imaging technologies such as MRI, PET and CT are used to understand the body and brain, support research, and improve health outcomes. Students will have the opportunity to use a scanner and analyse image data.
