1. Objective
A global stage to accelerate translational solutions in Biomedical Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, and AI-driven Biosciences through a competitive pitch event.


2. Competition Format & Scale
* 1-Day Hybrid Competition.
* Overseas participants may choose to present online.
* 20 teams in final Pitch.

4. Focus Areas
Biomedical Sciences & Engineering
* Medical Devices: Wearables, implantable sensors, and diagnostic tools.
*Tissue Engineering: 3D bioprinting, scaffolds, and regenerative medicine.
*Biomechanics: Prosthetics, exoskeletons, and motion analysis systems.

AI in Biomedical Sciences & Engineering
* Healthcare & Drug Discovery: Machine learning for diagnostics, precision medicine, & combating antimicrobial resistance, AI for virtual screening, predicting drug-target interactions.
*Medical Imaging: Deep learning for radiology, pathology, and early diagnosis.
*Systems Biology: AI-driven analysis of genetic data and protein folding.
*Microbiome: Machine learning & predictive modelling of gut microbiome, multi-omics integration, microbiome-host interactions & related personalized medicine & therapeutic discovery.

Note: The provided topics are illustrative examples, and applicants are welcome to submit proposals on any relevant research subject.

* MSRI Incubation: Incubation Space, Laboratory access, Start-up Fund Opportunity.
*Investor Pitch: Top teams presented to SIP government & biotech VCs.
*Prototype for Exhibition: Prototypes exhibited at Monash Suzhou for publicity.
*Travel support for projects outside Monash University is subject to evaluation.

6.Participation Rules
*IP Compliance: IP Ownership remains with the competition teams.
*Team Size: 1-2 students/researchers (Undergraduate, Master, PhD, Postdoc).
*Submission: 2–3 page proposal: Including graphic abstract, problem statement, innovation, business model, and prototypes if any (Template link provided at the bottom)

7. Judging Criteria
* Application Material evaluation by external experts (30%)
* Oral Presentation & Pitch by panel (30%)
* Novelty & Impact (30%)
* Translation Feasibility / Prototype (10%)

8. Timeline
*Jan 1 – May 10, 2026: Registration & Proposal Submission.
*May 20, 2026: Project Selection & Confirmation.
*June 1st, 2026: Monash Suzhou Cup Competition.
