Southeast University-Monash University Joint International School(Suzhou)

Southeast University-Monash University Joint International School(Suzhou) formerly known as Joint Graduated School(JGS), is a Chinese-foreign collaborative joint institution established between Monash and SEU. JGS was the first Chinese-foreign joint graduate school approved by the Ministry of Education to operate in China.

The 60,000-square-metre building of the JIS supports education and future research activities in a range of disciplines, including engineering, IT, industry design, arts and international business.

JIS works with the Joint Research Institute to conduct multidisciplinary research projects in areas of strategic importance to industry in Australia and China, including smart cities, energy and environment, advanced materials and manufacturing, advanced computation in science and engineering, and life science.
