Recognising and sharing the outstanding work of Monash educators
The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards are designed to recognise the contribution of Monash staff to quality student learning experiences and to Monash’s reputation for world-class university education.
The VC Awards are an opportunity for educators to gain recognition for their contributions in education, innovation and education leadership. They provide opportunities for successful candidates to:
- Increase their profile through university-level contributions
- Gather evidence of impact that may be applicable in future applications for promotion and/or Advance HE Fellowship
- Receive a permanent citation on the Records and Archives website
- Be nominated for national or sector level awards

Guidelines and application resources
The Vice-Chancellor's Education Excellence Award guidelines include application requirements, criteria, timelines, and processes.
How to apply
The information session on Wednesday 15 July will share guidance on the application process which will include the following components:
- a 3 minute story aligned with one award category
- an impact statement, completed through a guided template providing appropriate evidence
- formal endorsement of the nomination from the Faculty, Portfolio or Campus
- if applicable, a summary of team members
