Eligibility for Awards
The Equity Diversity and Inclusion, Health Safety and Wellbeing (formerly Occupational Health and Safety) and Professional Staff Excellence Awards are open to staff and teams of Monash University. Eligibility applies as follows:
- Academic or professional staff are eligible for Equity Diversity and Inclusion and Health Safety and Wellbeing categories; ONLY professional staff are eligible for Professional Staff Excellence category
- Nominees must be employed by Monash University in a full-time, part-time, ongoing, casual or fixed-term capacity at the time of the nomination
- Nominations can be for an individual or team (including project groups, committees, and work units) that has/have demonstrated outstanding contributions over the past 12 months or beyond, where applicable.
- Nominees must not have been a recipient of the award for which they are nominated in the last two years.
- Nominee contributions to Equity Diversity and Inclusion OR Health Safety and Wellbeing OR Professional Staff Excellence must go above and beyond the requirements of their role, demonstrating significant and sustained achievement in any given activity, program or initiative.
