A warm welcome to our new Academic Researcher at Monash Korean Studies
Dr. Jiyoung Kim, a recent PhD graduate in Applied/Educational linguistics from UNSW Sydney, holds a bachelor’s degree in teaching Korean as a foreign language in Korea and a master’s in linguistics in Japan. Her research interests include sociolinguistics, bi- and multilingualism, HL education, and corpus and comparative linguistics.
