Congratulations to Jae Roh on her PhD completion!
We are pleased to announce the recent conferral of Dr Jaekyung Roh’s PhD in early May.
Her thesis, "Isolation and Struggle to Belong: Older Korean-Australian Migrants’ Managing Emotions through Homeland Digital Media", was highly commended by both examiners, with one noting it is publishable in its current form—an impressive endorsement of her research contributions. Dr Roh is currently working as a sessional academic in the School of Media, Film and Journalism at Monash and is preparing her doctoral work for publication.
We look forward to seeing her future publications and academic contributions.
