Monash-JBNU Korean-English Online Exchange 2020
In semester 1, 2020, Monash Korean Studies will be resuming a language exchange programme called the MONASH-Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Korean-English Partner Program. Monash Korean Studies' students can make friends with students at Jeonbuk National University in Jeonju, South Korea and exchange cultures and languages (focusing on English and Korean) via Skype or other chat platform (such as Kakaotalk/Google Hangouts). This is a great opportunity to interact with students in South Korea in Korean while helping them to learn English and about your culture.
Preference will be given to current Monash University Korean language students. Preference will also be given to Korean language students who actively participate in Monash University Korean Studies events (seminars, conferences, screenings, Korea Week etc). Students taking other Monash University Korean Studies units are also eligible to apply.
It is a fantastic opportunity to improve Korean language skills. Students may register their interest through the Monash Korean Studies 2020 Moodle page.
