We’d like to extend a warm welcome to our new research fellow at the Monash University Korean Studies Research Hub (MUKSRH), Dr Jessica Huynh. Over the next few months, Jessica will be working on translations of Korean children’s literature.
We’d like to extend a warm welcome to our new Korea Foundation Lecturer in Korean Studies, Dr Daniel Pieper. Daniel is a specialist in modern Korean language and literary history, and he is currently researching the emergence of vernacular Korean as a discrete subject in the modern school amongst many other subjects. Daniel joins us from the East Asian Languages and Cultures Department at Washington University in St Louis.
