When you are travelling overseas for Monash University work or with Monash devices, ensure you follow the Monash Travel Guides.

If you’re travelling to a high-risk destination, please complete our loan device form to borrow an international travel kit.

Why it matters
The targeting of devices (including laptops, phones, tablets and USB drives) used by travelling staff, especially during overseas travel, is a real and persistent threat.
We prioritise your security by encrypting all devices in our travel kits, ensuring a protected platform while you're travelling abroad. They come equipped with standard Monash University software and exclude any sensitive data that might jeopardise Monash's safety in case of loss or theft.
