Set up MFA
What to do
Always use multi-factor authentication (MFA) where possible. Monash University enforces MFA to protect our work accounts and data, but you should also turn it on for your personal accounts, including your social media.
How to do it
If you need help setting up or troubleshooting MFA for your Monash accounts, visit the eSolutions website for more information:
If you’re still having trouble, contact the Service Desk.

Why it matters
Passphrases are your first line of defence to protect your accounts and personal information, however they aren't effective on their own anymore.
MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring you to verify your identity before you log in.
