Members of CMC provided evidence to the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Primary Industries

Monash University's Critical Minerals Consortium (CMC) appeared before a Joint Parliamentary Committee at Parliament House in Canberra, contributing evidence on Factors Shaping Social Licence and Economic Development Outcomes in Critical Minerals Projects Across Australia.

The delegation, comprising Professor Mohan Yellishetty, Dr David Whittle, Vivian Wong and Dr Tim T. Werner, presented the Consortium's submission and outlined its research on building more sustainable, socially responsible and economically resilient critical minerals projects.

The Committee responded positively to the submission, recognising the significance and relevance of the Consortium's work and engaging constructively with the team on the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
