TUST 40 Years Celebration – 20 January 2026

We are delighted to invite the global tunnelling and underground space community to join us for a special anniversary celebration on 20 January 2026 in Melbourne. This unique one-day event commemorates:

• 50th anniversary of Underground Space (1976–1985)
• 45th anniversary of Advances in Tunnelling Technology and Subsurface Use (1981–1984)
• 40th anniversary of Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology (since 1986)

Bringing together past and present Editors-in-Chief, distinguished researchers, industry leaders, and early-career professionals, this event will celebrate the impact of these esteemed journals while discussing the future of underground space and tunnelling research. Join us for keynote sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, including:
