The Indigenous Graduate Program offers a strong and culturally grounded foundation for your professional journey at Australia’s largest and most internationalised university. At Monash University, we recognise the strength, knowledge systems and leadership that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples bring to our institution and workplaces. Grounded in Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing, it offers more than employment — it nurtures leadership, belonging, and self-determination.
Designed to support you to pursue your aspirations on your own terms, the Indigenous Graduate Program focuses on building capability, confidence and cultural integrity while navigating professional environments. The 12-month program provides structured professional development, leadership learning and meaningful opportunities to connect with Indigenous and non-Indigenous leaders, including an international networking experience.
Through a strengths-based approach and dedicated support, the program empowers you to realise your ambitions, contribute to your communities, and shape pathways for Indigenous excellence across Monash and beyond.
