First Year Indigenous Orientation Camp

Our First Year Orientation Camp gives first-year Indigenous students the chance to connect on Country before university starts and build lifelong friendships.

During the camp, you'll be able to:

• Make lifelong friends and connections
• Meet the friendly William Cooper Institute team and learn how we can support you
• Hear from local traditional Elders and community members
• Explore culturally significant sites
• Participate in fun engaging games and activities

All transport, accommodation, activities and food is included free of charge.

We had an amazing time at this year's First Year Orientation Camp, and we can’t wait to run it again in 2027!
