Our Indigenous Staff Network will provide an opportunity for you to develop professional and personal relationships with other Indigenous employees through social events and formal activities. Monash’s friendly and supportive environment will ensure that you’ll have the assistance you need to develop your career.

As part of the program, you’ll collaborate with your Indigenous graduate peers on group projects and initiatives. Importantly, you will also join our Indigenous staff community with access to networking events, professional development and On Country experiences.

A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE

Monash University is a global institution and as such, has a large international presence. As part of the Indigenous Graduate Program, you’ll experience a unique intercultural professional development opportunity at one of our International campus locations.

This experience will give you first-hand insight into Monash’s reach, as well as the challenges and opportunities of working in a global higher education institution. While away, you will have the opportunity to accelerate the development of your intercultural skills, which are fundamental for working in a truly global environment.

You’ll also develop a deeper understanding of the diversity of the University, and have opportunities to learn about a different culture, broaden your knowledge on important histories around the world, or explore how each of us can contribute to reconciliation worldwide, and within Australia.
