The difference we make
Leading change in nursing and midwifery for the last 32 years, we have graduated nearly 15,000 new nurses and midwives and helped countless others in their career pursuits with graduate education. Our Research activity is person centred and evidence-based, providing knowledge and exploring ways to provide better healthcare for patients and ensuring health professionals are well supported and safe within the profession.

Rural clinical placements
Joshua, 2nd year Nursing student undertook a three week rural placement at Robinvale District Health Service and shares his experience.
Joshua found the experience of working in a rural health setting completely different to that of working in a metropolitan area. There are many challenges that must be overcome in rural areas both organisationally and for individual health professionals. These challenges are unique to the rural area and are amazing opportunities to develop transferable skills.
