Collaboration for Sector Benefits
The Chemicals & Polymers (C&P) Manufacturing Innovation Network was established in 2015 through the Victorian State Government’s Manufacturing Productivity Network (MPN) program. Monash University, as facilitator, with Chemistry Australia, and industry members that are a combination of multinationals and SMEs, have established a network of collaboration that is for the benefit of all involved, and the sector as a whole.
The Chemicals & Polymers (C&P) Manufacturing Innovation Network is centred around Monash's C&P Graduate Research Industry Program (GRIP), which involves a cohort of PhD researchers, all with PhD projects that are closely linked to the industry partners. The participating Monash departments include the School of Chemistry, The Department of Chemical Engineering and the Department of Materials Science and Engineering.
