Tracey Sletten Lab home
Welcome to the Circadian Misalignment and Shift Work Laboratory.
Our research and industry engagement program is focussed on the mechanisms of sleep and circadian disruption, particularly in shift workers. We work to understand the adverse implications of sleep and circadian disruption for health, safety and productivity, and develop targeted interventions to improve sleep health in occupational environments.
We specialise in translational research to understand and improve sleep health challenges in unique industry settings including healthcare, Defence, commercial aviation, heavy vehicle transport, manufacturing and Antarctic expedition. Novel interventions to support shift workers at both the organisational and individual level, are continuously informed by our direct industry and consumer engagement.
The Lab is led by Associate Professor Tracey L. Sletten.
We are part of the School of Psychological Sciences and a member of the Sleep and Circadian Rhythms program. We are also affiliated with the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health.
