Herb Feith Centre Secures Australia Awards Fellowship program

The Herb Feith Centre is thrilled to announce that it has successfully secured an Australia Awards Fellowship to bring six Indonesian fellows to Australia to focus on climate resilience strategies. This prestigious fellowship, which will be led by Sharyn Davies, Centre Director, and Sabina Puspita, Deputy Director, underscores the Centre's commitment to fostering international collaboration and addressing critical global issues.

Building on the connections and learnings from the Centre-led KONEKSI project, this educational fellowship will facilitate knowledge exchange, professional development, and the consolidation of strong networks between Australian and Indonesian institutions. This educational program aims to enhance the Fellows' knowledge and skills in climate resilience, equipping them to implement effective strategies in their communities in Indonesia.

The Centre's leadership and dedication to bridging gaps between the two nations have been instrumental in securing this fellowship, highlighting the Centre's expertise in advancing climate resilience initiatives.

The Australia Awards Indonesia program is funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the fellows will visit Australia for three weeks in mid 2025.
