If your course permits, you may want to take an elective taught by another faculty. If enrolling in a double degree you can take units only from both partner faculties.

Art, Design and Architecture

Before enrolling in a Faculty of Art Design and Architecture (MADA) elective unit, you’ll need to either meet the prerequisites in the Handbook, or enrol in our online Occupational Health and Safety unit OHS1000 (0 credit points), and get written permission from the unit coordinator. Some units have quotas, so enrolment is conditional on available places.

For more information please email us at MADA student services, mada@monash.edu

You can enrol in Arts units if you meet the prerequisites. If you have room in your course you can complete an arts major or minor. For more information refer to the list of Arts areas of study.

Business and Economics

You can enrol in Business and Economics units if you meet the prerequisites and co-requisites for the unit. If you have room in your course you may complete a major or minor. If you have a query please contact us online.

Education

We ask that you enrol in units after 21 February, when we can guarantee that students with an Engineering course offer have enrolled.
