These badges are a widely used and reputable method of verifying your learning. By sharing your Monash digital badge (a small graphic linked to details about your course or credential), you can demonstrate your skills, build trust with your prospective employers and your professional network, and enhance your personal brand and your career.
We've partnered with Credly to translate the learning outcomes you’ve demonstrated into a digital badge, issued and managed through the company’s Credly digital credentialing platform. The technology Credly digital credentialing platform is based on the Digital Badge Standards maintained by IMS Global. This enables you to manage, share and verify your competencies digitally.
Representing your skills as a digital badge gives you a way to share your abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted and can be easily verified in real time. Digital badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of what you had to do to earn your credential at Monash, and what you’re now capable of. Credly’s digital credentialing platform also offers labour market insights, based on your skills. You can search and apply for job opportunities right through the Credly platform.
Credly is the end-to-end solution for issuing and managing digital credentials. Credly works with Monash and other credible organisations to provide digital credentials to individuals, worldwide.
You will receive an email notification from our digital credential platform, Credly (email@example.com) with instructions for claiming your digital badge and setting up your account.
You can easily configure your privacy settings in our digital credential platform, Credly. You’re in complete control of the information about yourself that is made public.
No. This is a service we provide to you, at no cost.
You can share your digital badge directly from the digital credential platform to LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook; over email; embedded in a website, or in your email signature. Simply go to your digital badge, select 'Share', then 'Connect', 'Share' or 'Send'.
Labour market insights are pulled from live job requisitions. Based on your skills you can learn which employers are hiring, what job titles you might be qualified for, salary ranges and more. Search active job listings and even apply for them with just a few clicks through the Credly digital credentialing platform. Access the labour market insights from your badge details page by clicking on Related Jobs, or by clicking on the skill tags assigned to your digital badge.
Yes, you can download your digital badge from the Share Badge page. Your downloaded badge contains Open Badge Infrastructure (OBI) compliant metadata embedded into the image. This allows you to store your digital badge on other OBI-compliant badge sites, such as the Mozilla backpack.
At this time, you cannot import other badges into the Credly digital credentialing platform.
You can print a Monash branded certificate with your name, course name, dates, and a link to your digital badge. Simply go to your digital credential dashboard, select your badge, then select 'Share'. Select the print icon, then select 'Download PDF'.
