Preparing for 2025: AI in Education Bootcamp

Join us for an intensive one-day bootcamp designed to equip Monash educators with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of AI in higher education. The Bootcamp is designed primarily for Chief Examiners and those responsible for the assessment regimes within units.

This bootcamp will empower you to adapt your assessment regimes and teaching methodologies while helping prepare staff and units to navigate transformations driven by emerging technologies. Join us to help think through AI issues in preparation for your Semester 1 2025 units.

Through a series of fast-paced, hands-on sessions, participants will:

Redesign assessments with AI aligned to learning outcomes and their demonstration through independent, collective and assisted learning activities.
Explore the potentials and challenges of selecting and responsibly integrating AI tools in your unit.
Develop AI acknowledgement strategies and enhance feedback processes using AI.
Experiment with roles for AI in both interactive in class and asynchronous teaching activities.
Identify key issues and resources to help drive the dynamic evolution of higher education.

For relevant staff, attendance at one of the AI in Education Bootcamps will be recognised as the equivalent of completion of a MEA module.

New module

These bootcamps ran in 2024, to prepare staff for Semester 1 2025. The content has been integrated into a self-paced fully-online MEA module, Preparing for education with AI.

Previous schedule and location

The three bootcamps were offered ahead of Semester 1 2025, including one entirely online option.

Time: 8:45 AM - 5:00 PM (this will be a catered event).

To accommodate various schedules and facilitate participation, we are offering this bootcamp on three different dates. Please register for the single date that works best for you, as the same content will be covered in all sessions.
