MATS members include more than 100 researchers and educators from across Monash University. They are from the Faculty of IT, including researchers from the Inclusive Technologies Research Lab; the Faculty of Arts, including researchers from Sign Language @ Monash; the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, including researchers from the Rehabilitation, Ageing and Independent Living Research (RAIL) Centre; the Faculty of Education; the Faculty of Engineering; the Monash Business School, including researchers from the Opportunity Tech Lab; Monash Art, Design and Architecture; the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences; and Monash Disability Support Services. There are also members who are professional staff from a wide variety of Monash portfolios and faculties.

PhD Opportunities
MATS is actively seeking PhD candidates with a lived experience of disability to undertake disability-led research. Scholarships are available to people with a disability or medical condition that affected previous studies through the Monash Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship scheme, with application rounds in May and October each year.
