Research
We bring together leading researchers, clinicians and partners to tackle the most pressing brain and mental health challenges. Across our research programs, we work closely with communities and industry to build resilient, healthy brains early in life and develop tools that promote wellbeing and support brain health across the lifespan.

Monash-Epworth Rehabilitation Research Centre (MERRC)
Monash-Epworth Rehabilitation Research Centre (MERRC) conducts ethical, innovative and internationally competitive research. We investigate the effectiveness of intervention programs for individuals with brain injuries or other injuries sustained as a result of trauma, with the ultimate aim of maximising their functional, psychological and social outcomes.
Industrial Transformation Training Centre (ITTC) for Optimal Ageing
We're training a workforce that is skilled in the development, translation and implementation of digital and robotic systems to optimise cognitive, physical and mental wellbeing in middle-aged and older adults.
Through industry-based projects, our graduate researchers (PhD Students) will provide their technical expertise, creative problem-solving and scientific insights to help your organisation develop tools and strategies to support optimal ageing.
BrainPark
BrainPark is a world-first neuroscience research clinic dedicated to improving the physical, mental and brain health of Australians, and is co-located at Monash Biomedical Imaging in Clayton.
BrainPark research programs develop five integrated lifestyle and technology based interventions that have been chosen for their strong therapeutic potential and accessibility. These are: therapeutic virtual reality, physical exercise, meditation, non-invasive brain stimulation, and cognitive training.
