Monash-Epworth Rehabilitation Research Centre (MERRC) conducts ethical, innovative and internationally competitive research. We investigate the effectiveness of intervention programs for individuals with brain injuries or other injuries sustained as a result of trauma, with the ultimate aim of maximising their functional, psychological and social outcomes.
We're part of the School of Psychological Sciences.

About MERRC
MERRC was established in 2000, bringing together the resources and expertise of Monash University with that of Epworth Hospital to conduct research in trauma rehabilitation.

Research
We conduct research in trauma rehabilitation, with a view to reducing long-term disability.

Resources
We offer a range of resources including Mild Head Injury Booklets, and the Brain Injury Driving Self-Awareness Measure.

Awards
We have won numerous awards since our establishment, including Program Lead Jennie Ponsford being appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the 2017 Queen's Birthday Honours List.
