With locations across Victoria, our education and research presence extends to the Monash Clayton and Peninsula campuses, the Monash Health Translational Precinct, the Alfred campus in Prahran, Box Hill, linked to the Eastern Health network, and our expansive Monash Rural Health network, which spans over 1,000 kilometres and covers the northwest of Victoria and Gippsland.

Monash Technology Precinct

Our Monash Clayton campus resides within the Monash Technology Precinct, a globally recognised centre for industry, research and education collaboration, creating leading-edge solutions to improve human health.

Monash Health Translational Precinct

A collaborative initiative of Monash Health, Monash University and Hudson Institute of Medical Research, the Monash Health Translation Precinct (MHTP) strengthens links between education and training, basic and clinical research, and patient care.

Alfred campus

Our presence at the Alfred campus comprises the whole of the Sub Faculty of Translational Medicine and Public Health, including the School of Translational Medicine and School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and other departments and centres.

Eastern Health Precinct

The Eastern Health Precinct comprises Eastern Health Clinical School embedded within Eastern Health, which has the largest geographic coverage of all metropolitan health services. This allows the provision of a full range of general and specialist medical and other healthcare services “from cradle to grave,” with the exceptions of cardiac surgery and neurosurgery.

Peninsula Health Precinct

Monash Peninsula campus is a vibrant, integrated health, education and research precinct in Frankston that incorporates our world-class teaching facilities for nursing, physiotherapy, paramedicine, occupational therapy, podiatry and radiation sciences.

Rural Health Footprint

The School of Rural Health is committed to improving health outcomes in rural communities and creating a sustainable rural health workforce. With eight clinical teaching sites, our footprint stretches from Mildura in the north-west to Bairnsdale in the south-east. The school delivers the Monash MD in our rural and regional sites across Victoria.

The Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Science acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands our various sites are located in across Narrm. Particularly the Bunurong / Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri groups of the Kulin Nation. Narrm in the Woi Wurrung language refers to the greater area of Melbourne and the bay. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the:

  • Millewa-Malee, being Latji Latji and Ngintait people at the Mildura Rural Health site
  • Gunaikurnai people at the Traralgon, Warragul, Churchill, Morwell and Bairnsdale Rural Health sites 
  • Dja Dja Wurrung country, our Bendigo Rural Health site
