Workshops
NHET-Sim is a national program for healthcare professionals and others who may use simulation as an educational method.
The curriculum has been developed and reviewed by leaders in healthcare simulation across Australia and internationally. NHET-Sim has become synonymous with high quality. Participants and facilitators have praised them for consolidating online content, enhancing current practice, sharing ‘tips and tricks’ and providing an invaluable networking experience.
We have held over 950 workshops with over 4,000 participants having completed the program.
We offer workshops for the following modules:
- Module C2: Being a simulation educator
- Module S2: Simulator fundamentals
- Module S3: Technology-based simulators and simulations
- Module S4: Delivering technology-based simulations
- Module S5: Simulated patient methodology
- Module S6: Patient focused simulation
- Module S9: Debriefing in simulation
- Module S10: Developing scenarios
- Module S12: Simulation based interprofessional education (IPE)
