The Facility

FlowCore is a purpose built core facility providing world-class flow cytometry services to scientists from Monash University, the Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute (ARMI), the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and the broader scientific community in and around Melbourne, Australia

Our large dedicated laboratory currently houses four high speed sorters, Australia's first Bigfoot spectral cell sorter, six traditional analysers, and a Cytek spectral analyser, making us one of the top flow cytometry facilities in Australia. Our equipment boasts cutting-edge features such as 561nm yellow/green lasers as standard on all our instruments, 355nm UV laser technology, including Australia's first five-laser cell sorter and seven-laser analyser, and now spectral analysis and sorting capabilities. This allows for unrivalled flexibility for Melbourne researchers.

FlowCore is located in room 269 in the north wing of the second floor of building 15 (formerly 75; STRIP1) on Innovation Walk, Monash University's Clayton campus. For more information on how to find or contact us, click here.
