Professional Services refers to provision of the service that you require by qualified Histology staff. Our "Do-it-yourself" or "DIY" service enables you to access equipment provided by the facility. Registration is required for use of either service. For DIY users a training/induction session is necessary prior to utilization of any equipment.
All quotations provided are provisional and dependent on the type and quality of the sample submitted. Minor variations in hourly charges may occur. The client will be notified (prior to progression of the job) if substantial variations are foreseen.

Do-it-yourself services
Microtome hire
Access to fully equipped paraffin microtomy stations with cold plates, drying plates and waterbaths. Stations are all located on ergonomic workbenches for your comfort.
Cryostat hire
Leica CM3050S Cryostat available for fresh/fixed tissue sectioning.
Staining area utilisation
Fully equipped staining area available for use at MHTP and AMREP nodes. Includes all reagents and consumables for routine stains. Dewaxing, counterstaining or coverslipping only also available.
