2023 Monash Neuroscience Symposium

In May 2023, PhD student Katharine Huynh presented at the Monash Neuroscience Symposium on the project Computerised cognitive training in Huntington’s disease: A randomised controlled trial.


Lend Us Some Muscle

The Lend Us Some Muscle campaign is back in 2021 for the month of May. Our researchers were able to take part in the campaign which raises funds and awareness for Friedreich ataxia.


Global, multi-stakeholder, consortium launched to study neuroimaging biomarkers for Friedreich Ataxia

Professor Georgiou-Karistianis is the chairperson of the TRACK-FA Neuroimaging Consortium, a global study launched on the 24th September, 2020. Read more here.


Huntington’s disease community engagement

In May 2019, our team got involved in Huntington's Awareness Month. We took part in the Hunt for a Cure community fundraiser, where Professor Georgiou-Karistianis provided the community with an update on research progress in this disease. Our lab members also “wore it blue” for Huntington’s disease alongside our Huntington's disease research colleagues from the Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory (Stout Lab).


Friedreich ataxia community engagement

Our researchers were excited to contribute to the 2019 “Lend Us Some Muscle” campaign, which raises funds and awareness for Friedreich ataxia. The team also showcased ENRU’s neuroimaging research at the 2018 FARA Australia Friedreich Ataxia Scientific Symposium.
