Community Pulse: Partnering with community for better heart health

At the Victorian Heart Institute (VHI), we believe that the best research is built with community, not just for it. That means listening to lived experience, respecting different perspectives, and putting community voices at the heart of heart health.

Introducing the VHI Community Pulse

The VHI Community Pulse is our Consumer and Community Involvement (CCI) program. It is a space where researchers, health professionals, patients, carers and passionate community members come together to shape heart and stroke research.

Whether it’s working together to set research priorities, co-designing projects, or reviewing public materials, our community partners bring vital insight.

Together, we’re making research more relevant, inclusive and impactful.
