Types of on-campus accommodation
Where you'll live is one of the most important decisions you'll make at university! When it comes to choosing a place to live, everyone's a little different so we've developed a range of different residential options on-campus.
Clayton campus
The Clayton campus is home to most of our on-campus accommodation. If you're studying at another Monash campus you are still welcome to apply for accommodation at Clayton. Check out the Clayton campus travel distances and inter-campus shuttle
Peninsula campus
Situated at the entrance to the Mornington Peninsula, around 30 minutes drive from Clayton.
During the semester, regular, free shuttle buses link our Clayton and Peninsula campuses and there are a number of public transport options available. Check out the Peninsula campus travel distances.
All on-campus accommodation options at the Peninsula campus are situated within easy walking distance to the campus centre and sports complexes, and a short commute to the local beaches. View the Peninsula accommodation map here
Other types of accommodation
On-campus accommodation is available to support the diverse needs of our student community, with options provided for specific cohorts offering tailored living arrangements ensure an inclusive, and supportive environment that meets the unique requirements of of our residents.
Accessible accommodation
Many of our facilities have been specifically built or modified to incorporate specific accessibility features.
Under 18 years old
There are many students under 18 here at Monash and we’re here to help you settle in, get your bearings, and make the most of life on campus.
Graduate students
If you’re enrolled in a graduate degree, like a master’s or doctorate, living on-campus can be a great way to focus on your studies or research activities.
