- #MeToo Media, Gender, and Sexual Violence: Examining the impact of media on the #MeToo movement and more broadly, how it shapes the discourse on gender and sexual violence.
- Gender and Cultura lPolicy: Investigating the shortcomings of public relations theory in addressing gender disparities both in theory and application; Analysing cultural policy strategies aimed at addressing gender equality within the creative and cultural industries.
- Mediation of Contemporary Reproductive Politics: Investigating how scientific, ethical, and popular media platforms mediate, regulate, and shape discussions around contemporary reproductive politics, thereby influencing public perceptions and policies.
- Gender and Labour: Analysing the links between feminised work, equality and precarity through studies of representation, history and professionalisation of media occupations and cultural intermediaries.
- Digital Content Creation Industry: Examining how migrant content creators and migration agents and institutions use digital technologies to sell Australia to aspiring migrants. It also examines how aspiring migrants perceive Australia as a country of destination and settlement by consuming online contents produced by a range of social actors in a migration landscape.
